All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists

On January 11, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Young Scientists: Hypotheses, Projects, Research” (natural and agricultural sciences) was held at the ER INAS.

The conference was organized by the Department of Biology and Agronomy, and the conference was co-organized by: H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University; Luhansk Nature Reserve of the NAS of Ukraine; Hadiatskyi Museum of History and Local Lore; Regional Landscape Park “Hadiatskyi”; Ustimov Research Station of the V. Ya. Yuryev Institute of Plant Growing of the NAAS of Ukraine; Research Station of Medicinal Plants of the Institute of Agroecology and Environmental Management of the NAAS of Ukraine.

The conference began with welcoming remarks from all organizers and co-organizers. In their speeches, representatives of the scientific community emphasized the importance of holding such events to exchange scientific achievements and experience of practical research in the fields of natural and agricultural sciences, innovations in the methodology of teaching natural sciences in educational institutions. This provides opportunities for young scientists to develop as individuals, master new research methods, and communicate with colleagues from various educational institutions and research institutions.

The work of the conference was divided into three sections: “Modern problems, research in the fields of biology and natural sciences”; “Agrarian sciences and food”, “Education: issues of theory and practice (natural sciences), modern technologies of teaching natural sciences”. During the work of the sections, topical issues of biology, methods of teaching biology and technologies for preserving human health, agronomy, and technologies for growing major agricultural crops were discussed. Regional features and modern needs of communities were taken into account, which makes the practical aspect of the conference interesting for the public. All sections were actively attended by bachelor’s and master’s students majoring in “Secondary Education. Biology and Human Health”, “Biology and Biochemistry”, “Agronomy”, who spoke about their scientific achievements in the relevant fields. A collection of abstracts will be published based on the materials of the conference, which will be posted on the website of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences.
