Open Lecture

An open lecture was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Arts. 

On January 7 at 2:00 p.m., an open lecture was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Arts by the head of the Department of Cinema and Television Directing and Screenwriting, Doctor of Art History, Professor of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Volodymyr Naumovych Mislavskyi, on the topic: “The Influence of Painting Techniques on the Composition of the Frame” (80 min.).

The lecture discussed the issues of the golden ratio in cinema, “Quoting” of classical paintings in world cinema, symmetry and the views of characters in painting. The lecture was attended by teachers of the Department of Audiovisual Art: Oleksandr Pavlovych Kalashnyk, Anatolii Viktorovych Mishyn, Alena Valeriyivna Tereshchenko, Maksym Hennadiiovych Saibekov; bachelor’s students master’s students. 

Volodymyr Naumovych suggested that similar lectures be held in the future. We are very grateful to the well-known film scholar, Volodymyr Naumovych Mislavskyi, for the professional lecture for students and teachers of the B1 Audiovisual Art and Media Production specialty.
