MLT SPORT AWARDS

On December 20, the traditional sports event “MLT SPORT AWARDS ‘Our victories are for you, Melitopol!” was held in the assembly hall of the Zaporizhia Youth Center.

The event was dedicated to the results of the athletes’ performances in 2024, where the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU Oleksandr DUBOVOI received a diploma for fruitful cooperation, organization and holding of sports events among internally displaced persons in 2024. The diploma was presented by the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Melitopol City Council of the Zaporizhia region Valerii HAZAIEV.

At the same sports event, a master’s student majoring in 017 “Sport” of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU Volodymyr STARCHENKO received a diploma as the coach of the year, and a teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of  Valerii HAZAIEV received a diploma as the head of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Melitopol City Council.

During the year, athletes and teams worthily represented Ukraine at the highest level competitions, achieving significant results!

We are proud of the sporting achievements of teachers and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
