The First Stage of the Petro Yatsyk Ukrainian Language Competition

The University held the 1st stage of the 20th Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition.
On December 18, 2024, the university held the 1st stage of the 25th International Petro Yatsyk Ukrainian Language Competition for students of higher education institutions.
This year, the Ukrainian Language Department organized and held the competition in a distance format. Participants of the university stage received instructions and competition tasks, and after a specified time, the competition committee checked the works and determined the winners.
Students of our university from various structural divisions took part in the first stage of the 25th International Petro Yatsyk Ukrainian Language Competition. The winners were:
Mykyta Buldakov, a 1st-year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism (1st place);
Karyna Shevchenko, a 3rd-year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism (1st place);
Sofia Nedohybchenko, a 2nd year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Philology. Oriental Languages and Literatures (including translation), the first Chinese”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism (2nd place);
Yulia Kanishcheva, a 3rd year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism (2nd place);
Valeria Bratanchuk, a 1st year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Software Engineering”, the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies (3rd place);
Yevgenia Krupoderia, a 1st year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Tourism”, the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade (III place).
The members of the competition committee noted the creative approach to completing tasks in the works of other competition participants, in particular:
Alona Symonenko, a 3rd year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism;
Maria Grekova, a 4th year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism;
Nataliia Kucherenko, a 3rd year student of the first (bachelor’s) level of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Journalism;
Kateryna Honcharova, a 4th year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism;
Mykyta Lishchenko, a 4th year bachelor’s student of the educational program “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism.
The winners of the competition were awarded with university diplomas, and active participants were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
