Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Philological Studies and Translation Discourse”.

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism: Kateryna Bilobrovska (Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes), Nailia Khairulina, Olha Blednova, and Iryna Skliarova (Department of Romance and Germanic Philology) took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Philological Studies and Translation  Discourse”, which brought together specialists in the field of philology, including scholars, teachers, postgraduate students and students.

The conference aimed to develop an interdisciplinary approach to studying language and translation strategies, discourse practices, and modern methods of addressing topical language issues in a global and intercultural context. Special attention was paid to Ukraine’s language policy, which is crucial for cultural sovereignty and national cohesion.

The event included two discussion panels: “Ukraine’s Language Policy: The Path to Cultural Sovereignty, National Cohesion, Educational Innovation, and International Recognition” and “Modern Linguistic Paradigm and Cross-Cultural Communication.”

The participants discussed translation challenges in the context of globalization, interlingual communication, and the impact of foreign languages on the development of Ukrainian philology.
