Preventive Meeting on Fire Safety

On December 18, a preventive meeting-discussion was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University with employees and students on the topic “Observance of basic fire safety rules and the use of primary fire extinguishing agents.”

The meeting was held by a representative of the Lubny District of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region with elements of training extinguishing a simulated fire in practice using an available fire extinguisher together with employees of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

We remind you that every employee of an educational institution, upon detecting a fire or signs of burning (smoke, smell of burning, temperature increase, etc.), must:

• immediately call 101, 102 to the fire and rescue service (in this case, it is necessary to provide the address of the facility, the place of origin of the fire, and also provide your last name);
• if possible, take measures to evacuate people, extinguish the fire and preserve material values.

We thank the inspector for conducting a preventive conversation and training with representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
