Preliminary Defense of Qualification Theses

From December 14 to December 17, the Department of Biology and Agronomy held a preliminary defense of qualification theses for master’s students majoring in 201 Agronomy.

During the presentation of the results of their scientific research, the students carefully substantiated the relevance of the selected topics, revealed the essence of field and laboratory research on the selected topic, analyzed the results. During the discussion of the presentations, the scientific supervisors, teachers of the department focused on certain aspects of the design, presentation of the material; explanations of certain research results and provided advice on improving reports and presentations of works.

All topics that were discussed at the pre-defense of qualification works are relevant and practical significance for agricultural production. Most of the works were regional in nature and were carried out in the Myrhorod and Lubny districts on the basis of farms. The students showed a high level of formed competencies and practical skills inherent in agronomists.
