Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was the first to organize a meeting of ecologists, which was dedicated to the current issues of ecology, environmental education and enlightenment of the Luhansk region in the conditions of a full-scale invasion.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hospitably received members of the Luhansk VEL branch, provided technical support at the expense of modern equipment and professional specialists.

The delegation of guests visited the educational premises of the higher education institution. They noted the professional work of a psychologist with war veterans at the Veteran Development Center, which operates on the basis of the university, where Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation Anton Nazmiiev was conducting training for military personnel on stabilizing their psycho-emotional state.

The activities of such a Center guarantee the creation of favorable conditions for professional, social, psychological, physical and health support and reintegration into public life of military personnel discharged from military service, war veterans and their family members, family members of deceased Defenders of Ukraine; training and advanced training of specialists in the support of war veterans and demobilized persons.

The guests also visited the resource sensory room, equipped with the support of the International Charitable Organization SOS “Children’s Villages” and which is also located on the basis of LTSNU. Those present noted the relaxed, creative and positive atmosphere in which it is most optimal to establish a connection between a psychologist and adolescents.

The ecologists-scientists were especially impressed by the modern laboratory, which was created to provide practical training for students in the field of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics.

The guests drew attention to the modern equipment, which allows students to acquire competencies and practical skills in the study of chemical processes, biological diversity and the state of the environment.

Therefore, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is always at the forefront of modern innovations and is a center of education, culture and the formation of an active civic position.
