Erasmus+ Days of Open Opportunities: 2025 Calls in Education, Youth, and Sports

Representatives of the university’s administrative departments, heads of academic departments, and academic staff participated in the Erasmus+ Information Days for education, youth, and sports organizations in Ukraine (December 9–12, 2024, held both offline and online).

From December 9 to 12, 2024, Ukraine hosted an event that served as a gateway to new horizons in education, youth, and sports. The Erasmus+ Information Days of the European Union brought together nearly 700 participants from across the country. The event was organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine in collaboration with the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and partners such as eTwinning and the European Solidarity Corps.

Over the course of four days, participants from various sectors had the opportunity to not only access vital information but also discuss pressing issues in education, youth, and sports. The event gathered representatives from schools, universities, government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector, creating a vibrant platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences. Among the participants were vice-rectors and heads of university departments responsible for international cooperation. Their active participation added significant value to the event, as they are key drivers of new projects and pathways for students and faculty to engage on an international scale.

Attendees of the Information Days enjoyed a unique opportunity to:

  • Learn about the Erasmus+ grant calls for 2025 and how to participate.
  • Explore the program’s goals, priorities, and requirements, which define its international success.
  • Familiarize themselves with key platforms and portals that simplify partner search and application preparation.
  • Join a community of professionals shaping the future of education and youth policy at an international level.

This event became a landmark moment for Ukrainian educators, youth, and organizations, as Erasmus+ offers tangible opportunities for growth, collaboration, and advancement. The program empowers participants not only to gain new knowledge but also to implement practical ideas, develop joint projects, and expand the scope of international partnerships.

The future is being built today, and everyone has the chance to contribute to these changes by seizing the opportunities offered by the European Union. Joining the European community through Erasmus+ is a real step toward professional development, knowledge exchange, and the creation of innovative solutions in one’s field. Let us not miss the chance to become part of this dynamic network and make an impact on the development of education, youth initiatives, and sports in Ukraine!
