Training “Break the Cycle of Violence”

As part of the All-Ukrainian campaign “16 Days Against Violence”, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences visited the Children’s and Youth Library of the Myrhorod City Council for the training “Break the Cycle of Violence”.

The training was held with the aim of increasing the level of legal culture among students and drawing attention to overcoming domestic violence, child abuse, combating human trafficking and protecting women’s rights. Representatives of the judiciary Olena SVECHNIKOVA and Viktoriia GORBATKO spoke about the problems of violence, its types, causes and methods of counteraction. Using the example of practical exercises and tasks, the participants understood the forms of violence – physical, psychological, sexual and economic, as well as how to recognize danger in time and where to seek help.

Upon completion of the training, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive qualified answers.
