Grant Program for Displaced Institutions

With the support of the USAID Dream and Act grant program for displaced higher education institutions, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts received everything it needed to create a modern educational space.

In 2022, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts of LTSNU had to leave their native Luhansk region and start all over again in Poltava due to the war.

Despite all the challenges, the staff was able to quickly adapt so that students could continue to learn and develop. Their determination and unity became the basis of a new chapter in the history of the institution.

With the support of the USAID “Dream and Act” grant program for displaced higher education institutions, the team took an important step. Thanks to the grant, they managed to purchase laptops, tablets, software — everything necessary to create a modern and convenient educational space.

Also, as part of the program, more than 120 students took courses in “Musical Improvisation on Digital Instruments”, “Digital Painting”, “Art of Video Editing” and “Digital Illustration”.

This story is about adaptation, the power of a team, and the importance of support that helps move forward even in the most difficult times. USAID Dream and Act is pleased to be a part of this process.
