Webinar from the NAQA and National Qualifications Agency

Olha Korinska, Chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists and Students, participated in a webinar from the and  NAQA and National Qualifications Agency. 

The Head of the Council of Young Scientists and Students of LTSNU, a postgraduate student, expert of the NAQA Olha KORINSKA took part in the webinar “Current Issues of Awarding Professional Qualifications by Higher Education Institutions”.

The event was organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) together with the National Qualifications Agency (NQA).

During the event, the speakers – Deputy Head of the National Qualifications Agency Dmytro Liakh, Member of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Olena Kolesnikova, Deputy Head of the 14th Sectoral Expert Council of the National Agency Ivan Lutsenko and Head of the Department of Accreditation of Educational Programs Hanna Deniskina – examined in detail the main provisions of the regulatory and legal framework, explained the regulations for awarding professional qualifications by higher education institutions, shared international experience, modern trends in the interaction of education and the labor market, and presented positive examples of the implementation of educational innovations.

Among the challenges that were highlighted, the experts highlighted the insufficient quality of communication between stakeholders and higher education institutions, as well as the discrepancy between the formally declared qualification and the actual provision of educational components in higher education institutions.
