Participation in the Summit of Progressive Educators 2024

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism took part in the Summit of the public organization «Prohresylni» 2024 in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation

Kateryna Bilobrovska, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, lecturer of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes Department, Vice Director in charge of academic workand Iryna Sklyarova, lecturer of Romance & Germanic PhilologyDepartment, Vice Director in charge of scientific work and English language training on December 7, 2024, took part in the Summit of Progressive Educators, which took place in an offline format in Kyiv.

Summit is the final event of the activities2024 of the public organization «Prohresylni», which brought together more than 200 educators, higher education students, scientists, partners from all over Ukraine offline and more than 170 participants online with the aim of rethinking the challenges of education and outlining joint plans for the future.

After the opening of the summit, educators discussed the achievements of the public organization «Prohresylni» in 2024, publicly discussed the topic: «Education is under threat: how to find balance and equilibrium?», participated in the open microphone «What is not talked about in the Marathon?», joined the discussion «Overcoming educational losses through community action: what is the role of international partners?», heard information about the membership of the public organization, the team and plans for 2025.

The summit participants talked, discussed and strategized about the future of Ukrainian education.
