Multifunctional Agriculture
5.12.2024
Teachers of the Department of Biology and Agronomy joined the advanced training courses “Multifunctional Agriculture”.
The advanced training courses were organized by the Public Unions “Interregional Union of Poultry Farmers and Feed Producers of Ukraine”, “Organic Ukraine”, the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “National Association of Agricultural Advisory Services of Ukraine”, the Educational and Scientific Center “Institute of Postgraduate Education and Consulting” of the Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University, which took place from December 3 to December 16, 2024. This event is held within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Strengthening Member Business Associations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Ukraine”, which is implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and with the support of Switzerland.
The purpose of the event is to improve the skills of trainers in the field of agriculture on the topic “Multifunctional Agriculture” in order to increase their ability to provide services to agricultural producers in the process of transition to multifunctional management.
Multifunctional farms play an important role in the rural economy of EU countries, combining the production of agricultural products with other functions – environmental protection, support of rural areas, management of renewable natural resources, landscape preservation and provision of cultural, educational, and tourist services.
Joining the course of lectures conducted by well-known scientists and leading specialists in agricultural production in Ukraine provides an opportunity to get involved in the problems and features of multifunctional agriculture, which meets modern world trends.
We are sincerely grateful to the organizers and lecturers for the opportunity to join the discussion of modern trends in renewable agricultural production.
