Roundtable “Cognitive Abilities of Birds”

Teachers of the Department of Biology and Agronomy and students majoring in Secondary Education. Biology and Human Health participated in the roundtable “Cognitive Abilities of Birds” which took place on December 4.

The round table was organized by the Zoology Department of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National University and is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Professor O.P. Krapyvnyi.

During the round table, a report was heard by Ms. Olha Brezgunova, Associate Professor of the Zoology Department of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National University, Candidate of Biological Sciences. The report was devoted to the cognitive abilities of birds, their analysis, formation, modern research methods, physiological features. Ms. Olha comprehensively analyzed the materials of modern world trends in the study of bird behavior, which are devoted to the features of learning, long-term relationships, memorization, use of tools, etc.
