Psychological support for students in modern realities from the regional center “Caritas Poltava”.

As part of the Week 2 of the School of Young Scientists, which took place in October-November 2024, the head of the Council of Young Scientists and Students, postgraduate student Olha Korinska initiated cooperation with the Poltava branch of the International Charitable Foundation “Caritas”.

“Caritas Poltava” is a regional center of the international charitable foundation “Caritas Ukraine”, which provides social assistance to people in difficult life circumstances. The main mission of the foundation is to develop traditions of charitable activity through active social work in the Poltava region.

Given the importance of psychological support for students and scientists of the university relocated to the territory of the Poltava region, an agreement was concluded on long-term cooperation. This is aimed at improving the emotional state of participants in the academic process.

As part of the cooperation, online meetings with psychologists of the charitable foundation “Caritas Poltava” are held every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. The purpose of the meetings is to provide psychological support to students, scientific and pedagogical workers and scientists of the university.

The meetings are held by psychologists of the charitable foundation “Caritas Poltava” at the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists and Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Such events will help improve the quality of life of participants in the educational process in the face of modern challenges.
