Thanksgiving Day at the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism

On 28 November, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism hosted an event dedicated to the celebration of Thanksgiving.

Yevhen Mykolaiovych Kharkovskyi, a lecturer at the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, developed the event’s program. Thanks to the online format, participants from all over the country and the world joined the event.

Opening the event, the moderator addressed all those present with words of gratitude and emphasized the importance of Thanksgiving for everyone. After that, the history and peculiarities of celebrating this holiday in America and Ukraine were discussed.

The final part of the event was the words of each person who shared what this holiday means to them and what they want to be thankful for.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, uniting students, teachers, institute staff, and future applicants around the idea of gratitude and support.
