Participation of LTSNU in the Networking Event

On November 22, a delegation from our university participated in the networking event “Educational Focus: At the Intersection of Experience and Inspiration” for pedagogical workers of the Dolyna City Council.
The networking event was held in Yasna Gora in the Goshiv Monastery – one of the greatest religious and historical and architectural shrines of Western Ukraine. The event was opened by the mayor – Ivan Dyriv and welcomed the pedagogical workers of the networking event. The meeting was addressed by the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine – Olena Karaman, the first vice-rector of LTSNU, Chairman of the Academic Council, Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine – Vitalii Kurylo. They spoke about the achievements of the university and wished fruitful work to the teachers of the Dolyna territorial community.
In the first part of the event, the attendees met with the finalists of the National Award “GLOBAL TEACHER PRIZE UKRAINE 2024” and via video link with the founder of this award, “Osvitoria” Zoia Lytvyn, who noted that for the eighth year in a row, outstanding Ukrainian teachers have been sharing their pedagogical experience.
In the second part, the teachers visited an exhibition of art paintings and master classes of the award finalists.
The Center for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers of Dolyna and university representatives are confident that such awards are a platform not only for recognition, but also give teachers specific opportunities for professional growth, career and a chance to influence educational processes at the national level.
