University Cooperation with Dolyna City Council

The cooperation between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and Dolyna City Council continues. 

On November 21, the next anniversary 50th session of the Dolyna City Council was attended by representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University: Vitalii Kurylo, First Vice-Rector of LTSNU, Chairman of the Academic Council, Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine; Olena Karaman, Rector of LTSNU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine; Oksana Beis, Director of the Lysychansk Professional College; Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work of the National Institute of Primary Education, teachers of the Department of Primary Education; members of the Dolyna Council of IDPs Volodymyr Prokopenko, Chairman of the Severodonetsk District Council of the Luhansk region, Olena Stetsenko, Head of the Separate Unit of the Public Organization “Civic Corps” in the Luhansk region, and Director of the Dolynska Museum “Residence of Angels”.

The session considered the issue of concluding an agreement on the lease of premises for the Dolyna Consulting Center of LTSNU. The decision was made unanimously.

Vitalii Kurylo emphasized the importance of cooperation between the university and the Dolyna territorial community. He noted that the city plans to open professional colleges, which will contribute to the development of the educational environment in the Precarpathian region.

The deputies supported the initiative of the Chairman of the City Council Ivan Dyriv and the university administration.
