22.11.2024
On November 18th, as part of the “Generators4Ukraine” charity campaign, organized under the auspices of the “Twinning” initiative by Cormack Consultancy Group, LTSNU received a modern and powerful generator. This donation represents a crucial step towards ensuring the stability and continuity of the educational process amid the extraordinary challenges of today’s world.
The campaign to raise funds for the procurement of generators was launched at the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Its goal is to provide Ukrainian universities with electricity and heating, which are critically important for maintaining the educational process and ensuring safe living conditions for students during both planned and emergency power outages.
The generator provided to the university symbolizes not only technical support but also the deep solidarity of the international community with Ukraine. Thanks to the joint efforts of University of Bath and other participants of the Twinning initiative, LTSNU is now able to guarantee the uninterrupted operation of its infrastructure even in the most challenging circumstances. “We are sincerely grateful to our partners at University of Bath for their dedication and willingness to help. This contribution is invaluable as it allows us to continue fulfilling our educational mission, overcoming the challenges of wartime, and creating a comfortable environment for our students and faculty,” said the Twinning coordinator of our university, Iryna V. Myhovych, Dr. of Ped. Scs. (Dr.hab), Prof. This event stands as a vivid example of how the combined efforts of the international academic community can help overcome critical issues, ensuring stability and development for Ukrainian higher education even in times of crisis.
The project is coordinated by Cormack Consultancy Group in partnership with the “Charity Fund for the Reconstruction and Support of Mariupol State University” and the charity organization Mosaik Education.
