Round Table at the Lubny Employment Center

On November 21, a roundtable was held at the Lubny City District Branch of the Poltava Regional Employment Center with the Marketing Department and the head of the Career Development Center of LTSNU.
Despite the continuation of hostilities, the labor market is growing steadily. In many industries, there is already a noticeable shortage of personnel, especially in the field of labor professions.
Therefore, a new look at labor professions became an interesting topic for discussion at the meeting. The topic was the formation of professional interests and the popularization of labor professions, because today there is already a shortage of qualified workers who are needed to rebuild our country. Specialists of the Employment Center emphasized that at present it is not difficult for specialists in labor specialties to find work – even without work experience.
They also suggested considering such an option as creating vocational and technical courses for labor specialties in the divisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Unemployed people registered with the Lubny Employment Center would have the opportunity to undergo professional training in labor professions needed in the labor market, or to improve their qualifications as a worker or specialist.
The introduction of such courses at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is an interesting topic for its further discussion and implementation at the highest level.
The meeting also mentioned the State Program for obtaining vouchers for training for various professions, which is aimed at covering the cost of training for a future employee, in full or in part, and its accessibility for both individuals and businesses.

Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University left advertising booklets with information about specialties and structural university subdivisions for distribution among the temporarily unemployed.
We thank the management, and especially the deputy of the Lubny city district branch of the Poltava Regional Employment Center, for their cooperation and hope for its fruitful continuation, because there is much to work on.
