Opening of the Traveling Film Festival in Poltava

Docudays.UA traveling documentary film festival has started.

On November 12, the Poltava branch library No. 4 hosted the opening of the traveling documentary film festival Docudays.UA, whose partner for several years has been the Educational and Research Institute of Arts of LTSNU.

This festival highlights and explores human rights through documentary films. The works are presented both domestic and foreign, but at the opening itself, cooperation between Ukrainian and Danish directors was demonstrated, namely the film “A Girl Far From Home”. It tells the story of a 13-year-old girl who, after the start of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, was forced to go abroad to Germany.

Also, before the festival, a presentation of the book “Your Book about Cinema” by writer and film critic Olha Birzul was held, two copies of which were won by students of the Institute of Arts. Guests of the event actively participated in a conversation with the writer and asked many interesting questions.
