Round Table “Health-Preserving Space for Social Workers”

On November 7, a round table “Health-preserving space for social workers” was held to mark the Day of the Social Worker.

The organizer of the event was the Department of Social Pedagogy and the research laboratory of “Creative Pedagogy and Public Relations” of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU. 

Co-organizers of the online round table were: Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law and Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

More than 100 scientific and pedagogical workers, bachelors, masters and postgraduate students from various higher education institutions, teachers of institutions of pre-higher, general secondary education and representatives of public organizations of Ukraine took part in the work of the round table.

The event was moderated by Larysa Oleksiivna DANYLCHUK, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Social Pedagogy Department of  LTSNU. 

Speakers at the round table were Larisa PLATASH, Iryna ILIASOVA and Yulia KOVALCHUK.

The main issues that were discussed during the work were: substantive clustering of the health-preserving component of the social worker’s activity; balance and harmony as a life-giving space for psychologists; as well as practical exercises on preserving and restoring professional health were conducted by specialists.

The event contributed to the exchange of experience and the identification of ways to improve work in this direction, which is extremely important for maintaining the professional health and well-being of employees who daily provide assistance to those in need.
