Educational Seminar

During two days, November 4-5, a two-day educational seminar was held in Myrhorod as part of the “Hoverla” project “Youth Councils in Lviv, Zhytomyr and Poltava Regions”.

The event united the progressive youth of the Myrhorod community. Yelyzaveta SEREDA, a first-year student majoring in “Earth Sciences” of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences of LTSNU took an active part in the educational seminar.

The project is implemented by the Foundation for the Development of Non-Governmental Organizations “Western Ukrainian Resource Center” and was made possible thanks to the United States Agency for International Development USAID, thanks to which young people learn practical skills to solve the problems of the community and youth in general. In particular, the following issues were considered during the seminar: methods of involving citizens in the decision-making process and the practice of participatory democracy; problems of youth in the community; partnership for the sake of youth; the role, duties and powers of the Youth Council in the implementation of youth policy.
