Lecture “The Concept of Marketing”

On November 5, employees of the Marketing Department of LTSNU held a lecture with first-year students of Starobilsk Professional College and LTSNU Professional College.
Marketers presented their Department with the help of a presentation, told the students about the purpose and tasks of the Department at the higher education institution, what educational marketing is, and gave examples.
“For our Marketing Department of LTSNU, this profession, although not easy, is very interesting and dynamic: every project or event is like a separate story that needs to be developed, worked out, highlighted from the beginning to the end, and the pros and cons are identified. This is an opportunity to communicate with various creative people, to be aware of various marketing services, curiosities that shape the educational market”, – the head of the Department Yevgenia Kulyk told the audience, inviting students to cooperate.
During the lecture, the leading specialist of the Marketing Department, Tetiana Demianchuk, revealed the very concept of marketing, which type is the most effective, and held an entertaining marketing quiz with questions and tasks, in which the students gladly took part, fulfilling all the conditions and showing themselves creatively.
Students also completed a small written survey from the Marketing Department and signed up via QR codes to all social media pages of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
The event ended with the presentation of symbolic gifts from marketers with the university brand and a joint photo to all those present for their active participation.

The first-year students thanked the marketing experts for the informative lecture and expressed their desire to cooperate with the department in future advertising campaigns.
