A psychological training on team building was held for the first and second-year students of LTSNU colleges.
Students majoring in “Psychology” of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology conducted psychological training on team building together with the assistant of the Department of Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy, head of the Psychological Recovery and Adaptation Center, and took place within the framework of this Center.
In today’s world, the ability to work effectively in a team is one of the most sought-after qualities, along with reliability, willingness to help, sensitivity, broad-mindedness, patience and self-respect. Each of us wants to study or work in comfortable conditions in a friendly team. After all, the team stimulates us to develop, motivates and supports us. How exactly to build a team? How to work effectively in it? This is what psychological team building training is all about.
During the training, students were directed to unite and encourage joint productive activities, using various games, exercises, tasks, etc., aimed at forming team spirit.
The tasks of the training session were: to create a positive atmosphere (cohesion, an atmosphere of trust; encouraging participants to work together for a long time; supporting each participant); direct the group towards the achievement of the common goal and the implementation of tasks; work out the rules of joint collective work taking into account the interests of each participant; to develop the ability to find effective original solutions and ways of behaving in different situations; to increase awareness of the rationality of the distribution of team roles and responsibilities.
The goal of the team building training was achieved, and the active and goal-oriented students showed their best team qualities and expressed a desire to develop them further.
The participants of the psychological session thanked the organizers for the knowledge, advice, and positive emotions, knowing that the experience gained will become an important part of everyone’s life not only today, but also in the future.
