Workshop Dedicated to the Social Worker’s Day

The Social Pedagogy  Department of the ER IPP held a workshop dedicated to the Social Worker’s Day on the topic: “Psychological help. Self-healing. Prevention of professional burnout”.

The main goal of the workshop was the formation of participants’ skills to effectively cope with stress and maintain emotional stability in professional activities, which is extremely important for maintaining psychological health in difficult work situations.

The trainer and moderator of the event was Ph.D., associate professor, associate professor of the Social Pedagogy Department, manager of the project “Minimum package of integrated social services for families with children” MBO BF “SOS Children’s Villages” Nataliia LYTVYNOVA.

The participants of the training were students majoring in 231 “Social Work”, the EP “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”, as well as specialists-practitioners of the social sphere of Lubny. 

Traditionally, the work of the workshop was opened by the university rector, Olena KARAMAN, who congratulated the participants on the Social Worker’s Day and emphasized the importance of their work to support clients in difficult life circumstances. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of professional stability and psychological well-being of social workers, especially in times of war.

The participants of the workshop had the opportunity to learn about the latest techniques of self-regulation and psychological assistance, to discuss effective strategies for the prevention of professional burnout, as well as to take part in practical classes aimed at developing self-recovery skills. In the format of live communication, experts shared their own experience of overcoming stress and maintaining emotional stability, which contributed to the creation of an atmosphere of trust and mutual support.

The Social Pedagogy Department expresses its sincere gratitude to Nataliia Anatoliivna for her professional approach, deep knowledge and inspiration, which became a productive and motivating resource for all present.
