Applicants of the Romance & Germanic Philology Department took part in a webinar: “The Art of Language: Exploring the Beauty and Power of Words”.

On 29 October 2024, applicants for the second (master’s) level of higher education majoring in 035.041 “Philology. Germanic Languages and Literature (Translation inclusive), First Language: English” had a unique opportunity to participate in the webinar ’The Art of Language: Exploring the Beauty and Power of Words.’ The event was devoted to discovering the beauty and power of language and its impact on intercultural communication and personal development.

During the webinar, the Romance & Germanic Philology Department students learned how words shape our thoughts, relationships, and culture. The lecturers – renowned philologists and experts in linguistics – shared practical advice on developing speech skills and spoke about modern research on the impact of language on consciousness.

The students actively participated in the discussions, asked questions, and received inspiration to study the art of language further. Participation in such events allows our students to broaden their horizons, improve their communication skills, and maintain high academic preparation.
