Halloween at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology

The teachers of the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development of the ER IPP held an Adviser hour dedicated to the celebration of Halloween.

On October 31, 2024, teachers of the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held an advisory hour for students majoring in “Preschool Education” (advisors – L.O. Varianytsa., G.P. Zazharska), dedicated to the celebration of Halloween. 

At the event organized for the 1st and 2nd year students, the head of the department S.O. Bader greeted the participants in English, which created a festive atmosphere and encouraged communication in English.

Students presented their messages about the history of the Halloween holiday, the traditions of its celebration in different countries of the world, and also demonstrated thematic presentations in English. This became an important part of the event, because the participants not only shared knowledge, but also improved their speaking skills.

The advisory hour was held with the participation of representatives of the directorate, who highly appreciated the initiative of the department and the efforts of the students. This format of the event contributes not only to informing students about world cultural traditions, but also to the development of their communicative competence in English.
