School of Young Scientists. Week 2. Day 3
31.10.2024
On the third day of the School of Young Scientists, the event began with a short reflection, after which the participants had the opportunity to listen to the speech of Anastasia KHARINA, an experienced journalist of local publications in Eastern Ukraine.
Ms. Anastasia shared her vision of the role of local mass media during the war, emphasizing the importance of documenting events and preserving the country’s historical memory. In her presentation, the speaker discussed in detail the issue of supporting local media, their responsibility in providing reliable information and the importance of active participation of citizens in recording the memory of important events.
“Local mass media are irreplaceable witnesses of history, which are the first to record important events, destruction and heroic deeds,” Anastasia emphasized.
The speech inspired young scientists to take an active part in public life and to preserve the truth for future generations. At the end, all those present expressed their gratitude to the moderators of the event Yevhenia SEMENOVA and Anastasia KHARINA for their contribution to the event and the opportunity to gain valuable experience.
Participants were also invited to consolidate their knowledge of media literacy on the Diya.Osvita platform via the link: https://osvita.diia.gov.ua/courses/very-verified.
We sincerely thank all the participants of the event, and especially Mrs. Anastasia for new knowledge and inspiration!
