School of Young Scientists. Week 2. Day 2

The second day of work within the framework of the School of Young Scientists. Week 2 was started by the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Yevgenia SEMENOVA, who introduced the concept of “science” and the main aspects of the activity of the Council of Young Scientists and Students.
The participants of the School had the opportunity to share their thoughts on what a young scientist should look like, what exactly science is needed for, and to talk about their expectations from trainings and speakers.
In particular, the speaker of the meeting was a pre-trial expert, head of the Folkloristics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Yulia Brailko. The speaker presented an interesting and relevant material on the topic “Feminitives in modern academic discourse”: she introduced the participants to the Ukrainian spelling-2019 about feminitives; with wartime feminitives and the rules of their creations.
The meeting took place in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, everyone could share their impressions and thoughts. Moreover, as part of the interactive session with the participants, the first two winners were chosen: Iryna Skliarova and Sofia Savisko.
