On October 23, teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology held a methodical seminar on the use of online tools in teaching.

All those willing joined the event. During the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the general trends in online education and with specific tools that help the teacher create interactive content, in particular, interactive whiteboards, for organizing work in groups. The speakers of the seminar shared information about interesting portals that provide opportunities to visualize educational content both in 3-d dimension and in virtual reality mode.

The participants of the seminar learned about the use of various online tools for monitoring the knowledge of students, such as interactive tests, quests, tools for creating flowcharts, presentations, projects, stimulators, etc.

Also during the seminar, speakers shared their experience of using AI in professional activities, demonstrated educational content that was created using AI. There has been a debate about the pros and cons of using AI, in particular regarding the use of AI in the creation of educational content and academic integrity. The participants came to the conclusion that a modern teacher must constantly learn, and expanding the skills of using AI in professional activities is currently one of the important areas of education. On the one hand, without knowledge of digital learning tools in the labor market, it is difficult to remain competitive among colleagues. On the other hand, AI helps the teacher to be interesting to the learners who need to be taught with the use of AI and learn to use AI in educational and professional activities.
