Recently, a guest lecture was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
An online lecture on the topic “Identification, detection and prevention of cases of gender conditioned violence. Today’s challenges” was held for the teachers, staff and students of the ER IPP. Other structural subdivisions of the university joined the meeting. The lecture was given by Alla Reshetnyk, social pedagogue, psychologist. During the demonstration of the presentation material, she spoke about gender-based violence, its consequences, and the conditions that may be inherent in persons who have experienced such abuse. She emphasized where to go for prevention and countermeasures against domestic violence and gender-based violence.
The lecture was attended by 96 people who listened to the lecturer with interest, asked questions and took an active part in the discussion.
The listeners received thorough answers to the questions. Together with the lecturer, the audience came to the conclusion that in the conditions of a full-scale war, the number of incidents of gender-based violence has increased and they do not occur in isolation, as they are related to other social, economic and political aspects. It is necessary to approach the solution of this problem comprehensively and at the state level to develop more effective mechanisms for the protection of citizens.
