Visit to SGGW University in Warsaw

On October 17, a delegation consisting of the head of the Academic Council Vitalii Kurylo, Rector Olena Karaman, Assistant Professor of the Pedagogy Department Serhii Mamychenko visited the University of Natural Sciences in Warsaw (Szkoły Głównej Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie). 

The initiator of the establishment of partnership relations with one of the leading state-owned universities in the Republic of Poland was Dr. Habilitation, Professor Svitlana Loboda, who currently works at this university as a professor at the Institute of Sociological Sciences and Pedagogy (ISSiP).

That is why the Institute of Sociological Sciences and Pedagogy became a platform for finding directions for cooperation between SGGW and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The meeting seemed constructive. It was possible to reach agreements on cooperation on the following issues:

• Double Degree;
• Academic mobility of teachers and students within the EU Erasmus+ Program;
• Sociological Congress – 2026 within the framework of ESA;
• Joint conferences and publications, etc.

At the end of the visit, the hosts gave the guests a tour of the university and a friendly dinner, after which they discussed all the details of the cooperation development and support of the university in wartime conditions.

The delegation from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University expresses its sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Institute of Sociological Sciences and Pedagogy of the University of Natural Sciences in Warsaw for their sincerity, openness and readiness to cooperate for the benefit of the development of education and science in Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.
