A guest lecture was held at the Management Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management.
On October 22, 2024, Professor of the Management Department Oleksandra Liashenko organized a guest lecture on the topic “HOW TO BE SAFE” as part of the Safety Thinking course developed by her, which became a selective educational component for the first time this year, and since the spring 2022 it has existed as a personal volunteer project of Ms. Oleksandra #SafetyThinking COMMUNICATE IN TIME OF WAR, MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS AND KEEP CONTACT”. The topic was brilliantly revealed by Alina SHAFOROST @Alina Shaforost – a social pedagogue, psychologist, teacher, scientist, lecturer of the volunteer project “How are you, brother?”, wife of a military serviceman, mother and Ukrainian woman who also has experience of waiting, moving, adapting and establishing relationships.
The event was attended by more than 70 participants from all over Ukraine, who expressed great gratitude for the opportunity to learn about the modern experience of adapting military communication to civilian needs presented by Ms. Alina. She spoke about the creation of a series of manuals for the volunteer project “How are you, brother?” @yaktybrate that are meant to be useful in different situations: to support the military, but it also works well for civilians.
The lecturer shared the algorithm of communication with those who have survived a traumatic experience, who are forced to maintain relationships at a distance during war, how building conversation patterns can help maintain communication during separation.
