Teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology passed the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Pedagogical Advanced Training “Actual Directions of Grant Programs in Educational Institutions”.

The lecturers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology passed the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Pedagogical Advanced Training “Actual Directions of Grant Programs in Educational Institutions” took place from August 5 to September 15  at the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation.

During the lecture, listeners were provided with practical information on where to look for grant competitions and what to pay attention to in grant announcements. In particular, the main EU programs available to applicants from Ukraine were considered: programs (https://eef.org.ua/report/posibnyk-iz-oglyadom-program-yes-dlya-ukrayiny/) of interregional, cross-border and transnational cooperation, program Horizon Europe, Digital Europe program, etc. Also, up-to-date information was provided on the websites of intergovernmental donor organizations, government donors from other countries, public donors, state and regional sources of funding.

During the “Fundamentals of Grant Management” lecture, the listeners got acquainted with the concepts of fundraising, grant writing and features of grant project management. Special attention was paid to the consideration of students evaluation criteria. A separate lesson was devoted to practical advice on writing the project application form and the features of budgeting and reporting.

The teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology will be able to implement the received information in further scientific work and to update the educational content.
