Training of Master’s Students in the Design of Scientific Sources According to DSTU 8302:2015

The leading librarian of the university conducted training for master’s students on the design of scientific sources according to DSTU 8302:2015.

On October 15, 2024, Oksana SHEVCHIK, the leading librarian of university, held an informational meeting for master’s students majoring in Social Work under the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”. The topic of the meeting is “Establishment of the list of used sources according to DSTU 8302:2015”.

The lecturer provided information about the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015, as well as the rules for compiling bibliographic references and creating a list of used sources. She emphasized the advantages of this standard, such as compliance with international standards, the tendency to simplify and the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine. The librarian also presented the services “Grafiati” and ONTU4Ref, which help to make references for qualification papers and publications online.

Oksana Volodymyrivna drew special attention to the importance of observing academic integrity and personal responsibility of students when using sources. She emphasized that the correct design of links not only demonstrates respect for the work of other authors, but also contributes to the improvement of the quality of scientific research. The lecturer urged the master’s students to use modern tools to increase the accuracy and efficiency of working with sources, while not forgetting the importance of a critical approach to information.
