NATIONAL MEDIA LITERACY TEST

Critical thinking is your superpower! Take the National Media Literacy Test to see how resistant you are to manipulation and misinformation.
This year, you can take the test at any time convenient for you during the day of October 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The test consists of 25 questions and 5 thematic blocks. After passing the test, you will automatically receive the result, the correct answers will be published on October 18 on the Filter website.
50 participants who will give the most correct answers in the fastest time will receive useful gifts from partners. Prizes include gift certificates for books at Vivat, portable chargers, thermal mugs, media literacy games, and more. The winners will receive their gifts within a month after the test.
You can take the test only once – participants who complete the test several times will not be able to claim gifts. The test will be open on the website after October 17, but only those participants who pass it on this day will be able to claim prizes.
If you are kicked out of the page due to technical problems after starting the test, you will also be able to claim the gifts. Start the test again.
Certificates are provided for passing the test. If you enter your email incorrectly, the organizers will not be able to send you the certificate. Also, make sure you have entered your first and last name correctly. Certificates are sent within 2 weeks after the test.
The winners of the test will be announced on October 22 on social networks and on the Filter website, and they will also be notified by e-mail with a request to provide data for sending gifts. If you do not respond to the letter within 2 weeks, you will not be able to claim the gift. The email may end up in spam, so please check this folder as well.

The National Media Literacy Test is part of the activities dedicated to Global Media Literacy Week, which is celebrated around the world on October 24-30. The National Media Literacy Test was launched in 2022 and is being held for the third time, uniting Ukrainians around the topic of media literacy.
The National Media Literacy Test is implemented by the National Media Literacy Project “Filter” of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Japan, and the Media Literacy and Cognitive Resilience Project in Ukraine, implemented by Zinc Network and funded by the Government of Great Britain. The National Media Literacy Test is implemented together with the USAID “Dream and Act” program, which is implemented by IREX in Ukraine, and the “Study and Discern: Infomedia Literacy in Education” project, which is implemented by IREX Ukraine with the support of the US Embassy.
