Organizational Meeting with Master’s Students

On October 10, an organizational meeting with master’s students majoring in 014.11 “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” was held. 

The purpose of the meeting is to tell the master’s students about the peculiarities of the educational process, the work experience and traditions of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education, the educational and professional program “Secondary Education. Physical Culture”, choosing a topic and preparing a qualifying master’s thesis.

The meeting was opened by the guarantor of the educational and professional program, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU Olena OTRAVENKO.

Special attention during the meeting was focused on the topic of scientific research of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education “Promising directions for improving the quality of professional training of physical culture and sports specialists” (state registration number 0117U005556), the practical component of the EP “Secondary Education (Physical Culture)”, the importance timely selection of the scientific supervisor and academic integrity during the writing of the qualification paper, involvement of gifted student youth in the research group as part of the scientific circle of the “Young Scientist” department.

The meeting ended with an active discussion and clear information for the master’s students regarding the further algorithm of actions.

The scientific and pedagogical team of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education wishes the master’s students fruitful cooperation, scientific achievements, creative inspiration and professional development in their future professional activities!
