Participation in the Artistic Plein Air in the Botanical Garden

The Educational and Research Institute of Arts took part in the artistic plein air. 

On October 10, students and teachers of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts and the Design Department visited an art plein air in the Poltava Botanical Garden, which was organized by the Mykola Yaroshenko Poltava Art Gallery in honor of the 170th anniversary of the famous Ukrainian landscape painter Serhii Vasylkivskyi. Also, together with the Institute of Arts, V.G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University ​​and Yurii Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic National University visited the event.

First, the representatives of the gallery conducted a tour of the Botanical Garden and told about its long history and unique plants. Then the artists looked for interesting locations where they could paint beautiful landscapes. The works had different characters: from simple sketches to full-fledged paintings. Among the plein air participants were teachers of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts Natalia Dihtiar and Oleksii Sobolevskyi and senior teacher of the Design Department Oksana Hetman.

The plein air event became a good opportunity to bring together the students of all three universities and gave an opportunity to get to know each other better.
