“Wild Field. The Way to Europe”

Larysa Osypenko, a student majoring in Ecology, was awarded a diploma for participating in the historical and cultural festival “Wild Field. The Way to Europe”.
Larysa Osypenko, a student of the 2nd year of the master’s degree in the EP Ecology of the ER INAS, was awarded a diploma for participating in the historical and cultural festival “Wild Field. The Way to Europe”. The historical and cultural festival “Wild Field. The Way to Europe” was launched with the aim of popularizing and presenting the history of Ukraine in different periods, fostering the patriotic spirit, Ukrainian identity, preserving national traditions and culture. Since 2016, the mentioned event has been held on the territory of the Nikol district of the Donetsk region, within the protection zone of the Ukrainian Steppe Nature Reserve “Stone Graves”.
In 2024, the organizers expanded the boundaries and forms of the festival, in particular, one of the forms of participation was creative photo location. To participate in the competition, the student sent several photos with landscapes of natural areas and was awarded with a certificate. The photos were taken during expeditions in the Sumy region, including on the territory of the Mykhailivska Virgin Nature Reserve. Mrs. Larysa is actively involved in eco-volunteering and scientific activities, in particular research on marmot and hamster populations.
