Acquaintance of Students with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015

The students of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences learned about the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015.

An informational meeting was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences with Oksana SHEVCHIK, the leading librarian of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The topic of the meeting was “Establishment of the list of used sources according to DSTU 8302:2015”.

Oksana Volodymyrivna familiarized the students with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015, information and documentation, bibliographic references, general provisions and rules of compilation. Attention was drawn to the advantages of this document: compliance with international standards, the tendency to simplify, recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine. Also, Oksana SHEVCHIK spoke about the services “Grafiati” and ONTU4Ref, with which you can issue references for scientific and diploma theses, dissertations, etc. online.

On the given examples, the students saw the structure of the bibliographic reference and independently completed the task of creating a list of used sources.
