Meeting with the Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization

A meeting with the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization was held in the structural subdivisions of LTSNU.
On October 9, in the structural subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, located in the city of Myrhorod: ER IMIT, ER IBM and ER INAS, an informational meeting of bachelor’s and master’s students was held with the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization Volodymyr MOROZ and the head of the Student Social Service Sector, Hanna Serik.
Volodymyr MOROZ told the students a lot of new and interesting information about the opportunities provided by the Trade Union Organization of the university, in particular regarding social and legal support. They discussed the issue of improving the work of student self-government, the plan and participation of students in cultural and volunteer events at various levels of the organization, and, of course, the involvement of first-year students in the work of self-government.
Hanna SERIK told who is entitled to social scholarships and which preferential categories can apply for the payment of this scholarship. She emphasized that only one type of scholarship of their choice is paid to students who have the right to receive social scholarships and academic scholarships, except for orphans and children deprived of parental care and persons from their number, as well as students, who were left without parents during their studies at the age of 18 to 23, they are simultaneously paid academic and social scholarships in accordance with the law. We reviewed the list of documents required for enrollment in a social scholarship. At the end of the meeting, they discussed the terms of consideration of the submitted application, the amount of the social scholarship and the periods of its accrual.
