Educational Excursion to “ASMI”

In Poltava, an educational excursion was held at ASMI LLC for students majoring in “Graphic Design”.

On October 9, an educational excursion to ASMI LLC in Poltava was held for students majoring in the “Graphic Design” EP of the Design Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Arts. The excursion was organized within the educational component “Printing Technologies”. The purpose of the excursion was to acquaint students with the equipment and technological processes of the printing company, which is aimed at deepening the acquired professional competences, mastering professional experience in practical design activities.

During the excursion, the students were able to learn about the production printing facilities, all the main components of the modern printing industry, and saw first-hand the production of printing products. The main technological processes associated with offset printing were shown: manufacturing of plates, their preparation, application of paint, and the printing process itself. The stages of stitching and cutting of printed products were also demonstrated.

Based on the results of the excursion, there was a discussion and analysis of the impressions of the participants, and conclusions were formulated. Everyone shared their thoughts about what they saw, focusing on the most interesting moments. In general, the excursion evoked positive emotions and became an impetus for further active activities in the field of design.
