Museum Practice

Viktoria Makarenko, a 3rd-year student majoring in “History and Archeology” is actively undergoing museum practice at the Lubny Museum of Local Lore.
As part of her practical training, she has already conducted a tour for visitors, among whom was her practice supervisor – Yevhenia Serhiivna Shevtsova, an assistant of the Department of History and Archeology.
The manager visited the museum with the aim of checking the quality of the internship, monitoring the performance of tasks and compliance with labor protection rules. During the tour, Viktoria talked about the rich historical heritage of the Lubny region, and also shared information about upcoming exhibitions and expositions, the preparation of which she is working on as an intern.
Practice in the museum allows students not only to acquire important skills in working with historical materials, but also to participate in the preservation and popularization of the history of their native land. Viktoria Makarenko has already demonstrated a high level of responsibility and professionalism by actively participating in the work of the museum.
