School of Young Sociologist

Students majoring in “Sociology” and teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology took part in the work of the School of Young Sociologists “Ukrainian Sociologist in Europe and America”. 

From September 30 to October 4, 2024, bachelor’s students and master’s  students majoring in 054 “Sociology” and teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of the Educational and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences joined the work of the School of Young Sociologist “Ukrainian Sociologist in Europe and America”.

The event was a great gift for the professional holiday of sociologists – Sociologist’s Day, which is celebrated on October 1.

The school took place online, which made it possible to unite the audience from different parts of Ukraine and the world.

The School was organized by the Sociological Association of Ukraine, the Kharkiv branch of the Sociological Association of Ukraine, the Karazin Kharkiv National University, Faculty of Sociology and Department of Sociology.

This year, not only young sociologists could join the work of the School, but also everyone who wanted to. The participants of the event had the opportunity to take part in master classes by leading Ukrainian scientists who are currently in Europe and America, are included in research projects in these countries and can introduce them to the research practices of Western countries.
