Organizational Meeting with Postgraduate Students Majoring in 231 “Social Work”

On October 7, an organizational meeting was held for students of the first year of studies of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the specialty 231 “Social Work”.

The purpose of the meeting is to acquaint postgraduate students with the peculiarities of the educational process and the preparation of a dissertation for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

The meeting was opened by the guarantor of the educational and scientific program, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko  National University, Olena KARAMAN.

Young scientists had the opportunity to learn about the history of the establishment of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University; management of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology; a member of the Department of Social Pedagogy; the rules for the design of an individual plan, the approval of selective disciplines within the scope of the implementation of the EP, etc.

Special attention during the meeting was focused on the importance of timely selection of the scientific supervisor and approval of the dissertation topic.

The meeting ended with an active discussion and a clear understanding of postgraduate students regarding the further algorithm of actions.

The scientific-pedagogical staff of the Social Pedagogy Department wishes success to young scientists, creative inspiration and original scientific discoveries.
