Webinar on Writing Qualification Papers

On October 3, teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology organized and conducted the webinar “Methodical Recommendations for Writing Qualification Papers”.

The event was attended by students of the 4th year of the first (bachelor’s) and 1st year of the second (master’s) level of education in the specialties “Sociology”, “Political Science”, “SE (History)”. They learned about the purpose, principles and main stages of writing qualification papers. The provided information is consistent with the normative documents of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The criteria for assessing the quality of the work (anti-plagiarism) were provided, redrafting procedures were introduced, etc. They discussed the principles of integrity and ethics of writing works.

In addition, the students received useful advice on the organization of research activities, preparation and presentation of their scientific achievements.
