Labor Protection: Basic Concepts

Olha Yosypivna MOSINA, the leading specialist of the Labor Protection Department, held a lecture “Occupational health and safety: basic concepts” for students at three locations of LTSNU. 

The meetings took place over three days:

– Lubny location on the basis of the university – 02.10.24 offline and online;
– Myrhorod location – 03.10.24 online;
– Poltava location – 04.10.24 online.

During these meetings, Olha Yosypivna talked about the work of the Labor Protection Department, the main concepts and important aspects that should be taken into account when organizing work in any field of activity. She emphasized the normative basis for labor protection, focused on the peculiarities of the work of minors, types of instruction, responsibility for violation of labor protection requirements and the Procedure for investigating and recording accidents, occupational diseases and accidents at work.

At the end of the lecture, the students asked relevant questions, to which they received comprehensive answers from the specialist, which made it possible to better understand the significant features of compliance with occupational safety regulations, after which they thanked for the important professional training on occupational safety issues.
