Defender’s Day was Celebrated in Myrhorod

October 1 is the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

This is a great state holiday, which is designed to honor all those heroes and heroines who courageously defend our native Motherland from enemies. Employees and students of the Institute of Economics and Business, the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies, the  Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences located in the city of Myrhorod, gathered together today to congratulate the servicemen on the holiday and honor the memory of the fallen heroes of Ukraine.

On the eve of the event, the educational subdivisions held a charity event, where everyone could donate some amount to congratulate our military. The collected funds were used to buy gifts for the defenders. In addition, the students have prepared amulets for the guests in advance, which will henceforth protect them from the blows of fate and from evil forces.

Dear defenders of Ukraine! Our indomitable and courageous Heroes! You have proven that you are worthy descendants of the Ukrainian Cossacks. Thank you for your courage, fearlessness and patriotism. On this day, we want to wish you faith, peace, stability and courage from the bottom of our hearts. May success and goodness never leave you! We sincerely wish you good health, an indomitable spirit and a peaceful sky! In today’s difficult circumstances of the life of the Ukrainian people, we ask the Most Holy Lady for her Protection over us.

We wish all of us Cossack deeds, achievements and deep spirituality. May the desire to defend one’s will and independence continue to be an indispensable feature of Ukrainians.
